Diplomatic Council expands to China
  • Market entry on the highest level
  • Cooperation with central business associations
  • Launches in Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing
  • Central focal point for business collaboration
  • Trustworthy Diplomatic Council business consultants offer help for all activities
  • Diplomatic Council positions itself as best focal point for all European companies with China business.

The Diplomatic Council has set up a new Mission in China’s capital Beijing after it has signed the far-reaching collaboration with China Enterprise News Group, which is responsible for the entire communication of all state-owned groups in China. It is moreover the only news group that publishes corporate news all over China. China Enterprise News Group is part of the China Enterprise Confederation and the China Entrepreneur Association and works closely together with all central state authorities including the National People's Congress, National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises and the China Enterprise Alliance.

Support for Diplomatic Council members in all economic issues

In order to fulfill its tasks, China Enterprise News Group uses a mix of all common communication channels including daily newspapers, internet, Weibo, WeChat and further media relevant in China. China Enterprise News Group is the central information platform for the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. On top of that, for almost 30 years now, it has been serving as China’s first full-service provider for the construction of industrial parks. The Diplomatic Council is named representative for the China Enterprise Park International Cooperation Alliance in Europe. China Enterprise News Group and their associated bodies have committed to support members of the Diplomatic Council in all relevant economic issues in China.

There is hardly a better access to the Chinese market than the access provided by the Diplomatic Council

This is reflected in the fact that the Diplomatic Council will have its own office in the premises of the China State-owned Assets Commission which controls the state-owned companies of China. In addition to the large groups, around 600.000 small and medium-sized enterprises belong to the Assets Commission. The premise is also home to further institutions such as the China International Trading Business Development Center. Diplomatic Council members in need of a meeting room in Beijing are welcome to contact the Diplomatic Council Secretariat General. This is a top address in Beijing.

Furthermore, our new partner organisation is happy to meet any Diplomatic Council members and to support with contacts and business in China. Vice versa, our Chinese partners seek contacts with European enterprises looking to expand their business to China. The same applies to companies in search of Chinese investors for their projects or for a merger and acquisition. Our Chinese partner would be pleased to open its contact network to our European Diplomatic Council members and support European investors in finding the right projects.
