At the initiative of the Consul General of the Republic of France, Nicolas Bergeret, a Franco-German Startup Summit will take place on 1 July as part of the Diplomatic Council’s Summer Celebration.
Three French and one German startup will present themselves: Compredict, Celestical, Lucca, and dataMatters.
We are delighted to welcome Dr. Ciro Maddaloni as the new Head of the DC Mission Italy to the Diplomatic Council family. As co-author of the publication Europe and the Emerging New Global Order and initiator of its Italian edition, he has already demonstrated exceptional commitment and vision. He has organised two remarkable book launches in Rome — one at the national parliament and the other at Italy’s foremost military officers’ club. Few venues could have been more fitting for such a publication.

This year's Diplomatic Council (DC) Summer Celebration will take place on July 1st. The stylish setting is provided by the stately Villa Bonn in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) with its unique ambience. We can look forward to a high-calibre programme in a relaxed atmosphere with delicious food and refreshing drinks in an exclusive social setting with cheerful people for sophisticated conversation.

Arriving by plane in Krakow, my taxi driver is of course Ukrainian but he is not too keen having a conversation. The train to Przemysl close to the border to Ukraine is a combination of ÖBB and SBB: excellent service, phone chargers work, bar carriage comes through to serve sandwiches and sweats as well as cold and hot drinks.
At the Diplomatic Council's Summer Celebration on 1 July in Frankfurt, Germany, all authors who have published their work with DC Publishing will receive a special honour. In a festive ceremony, they will be presented with the "Quality Writers Award" in the form of a certificate. Authors who have already contributed to a second or third book will receive a Silver, Gold or Gold on Ribbon award.
Great presentation of the book ‘Europe and the Emerging New Global Order’ (Italian edition ‘L'Europa e il nuovo ordine globale emergente’) on Monday, 19 May, at the Italian Parliament in Rome (Camera dei deputati, Sala Stampa).
An online panel discussion, initiated and led by Ambassador (ret.) Prof. Dr. Heinrich Kreft, explored "Europe's strategic challenges and opportunities in space," coinciding with the launch of the English version of the book "Race to Space" (ISBN 978-3986741471). Dr. Krisztina Tilinger from Ludovika University of Public Service provided the introduction.
